Noah Saunders Roberson, Jr., 66, of Roper, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC surrounded by his loved ones.

Born in Washington County on June 15, 1958, he was the son of the late Noah Saunders and Robbins Long Roberson, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Lawrence Roberson. 

Noah spent his working years as a dedicated carpenter. He was known for his meticulous craftsmanship and the pride he took in his work. Outside of his profession, Noah was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like spending time with his family and working on home improvement projects. Noah faced life’s challenges with unwavering strength.  His loving nature touched everyone he met, always putting the needs of others before his own.  His legacy is one of compassion and courage.  Noah’s unfiltered honesty and colorful language brought laughter and warmth to those around him.  His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

The family will receive visitors at the Roberson home in Roper.  A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Plymouth Church of God.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Plymouth Church of God with Pastor Jeff Person officiating. Graveside service will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens.

 In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Thomas Edwin Roberson (Erin) of Plymouth, Benjamin Matthew Roberson of Plymouth, and Micheal Wayne Manning, Jr. (Krystina), of Greenville; three daughters, Stephanie Renee Bland (Jason) of Greenville, Jaimie Keel White (John-Perry) of Plymouth, and Brittanie Dawn Keel (Andrew) of Greenville; grandchildren: Makenzie Roberson, Mallory Roberson, Aubrey White, Sarah Bland, and Clayton Manning; brothers, Charles Roberson (Virginia) of Plymouth, and Ed Roberson (Laura) of Roper; sisters, Pat Allen (Harry) of Plymouth, Tammy Roberson, and Mildred Roy of Plymouth; a special nephew, Mike Ange of Plymouth, and many treasured nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Pamela “Pam” Ange.

Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service at Hampton Academy, Plymouth.
