Pauline Silverthorne Credle

Pauline Silverthorne Credle, 104, of Rose Bay NC, entered her eternal rest on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Autumn Field Assisted Living in Belhaven.
Pauline Credle was born in Scranton, NC on May 1, 1918, to the late Samuel Caleb and Annie Dunbar Silverthorne.
She was married to Sidney A. Credle who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Scranton Christian Church in Scranton, NC. Mrs. Credle loved the Lord and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Family will receive friends on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Scranton Christian Church with Pastor Phil Emmert officiating. Burial will follow in the Credle Williams Family Cemetery in Swan Quarter.
Pauline is survived by a daughter Becky Sawyer (Dewey) of the Rose Bay community; a son, Charles Credle (Susie) of Ponzer; seven grandchildren: Phillip Sawyer (Tina), Michael Sawyer, Perry Sawyer (Michelle), Amy Sawyer, Bonny Smith (Vince), Caleb Credle and Jacob Credle; five great grandchildren: Reid Sawyer, Megan Sawyer, Ashley Sawyer, Nolan Sawyer, and Myles Credle; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rosalie S. Bridgman.
