Robert Lee Voliva
September 25, 1970 – February 22, 2025

Robert Lee Voliva, 54, of Chocowinity, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.

Robert Voliva was born in Tyrrell County, on September 25, 1970, to Bobby Lee and Frances Sanders Voliva. He married the former Aliki Klein.

Robert honorably served his country in the United States Navy, prior to beginning his career in law enforcement. In his law enforcement career, Robert served as a Police officer and then a deputy sheriff, eventually retiring from the Washington County Sheriff's Office. After his retirement, he served as a school resource officer for Beaufort County Schools.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Bryan Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by David Furlough.  The family will visit with friends, one hour prior to the service and at the conclusion of the service.  A private committal will be held at Azalea Memorial Gardens.

Robert is survived by his wife, Aliki Voliva, his daughter Marissa Voliva, of the home, his father Bobby Lee Voliva, his sister Elizabeth “Dee” Furlough and husband David of Columbia, and two nieces, Rachel Furlough Casas and Frances Analise Furlough; and grandniece, Vivianne Rose Casas

He was preceded in death by his mother Frances Sanders Voliva.
