Ronald H. Gaylor, 76, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at ECU Health Home Health and Hospice in Greenville.
Ronald Gaylor was born in Etowah County, Alabama, on October 7, 1949, to the late Raymond and Mary Jo Blackwell Gaylor. He was married to Marilyn Stone who survives.
His working years were spent in the steel industry as a beam walker. He was a loving father, a dedicated grandfather, loving husband and a devoted Alabama fan – “Roll Tide”.
A celebration of life will be held in Alabama at a later date.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons: Chad Gaylor (Samantha) of Hokesbluff, Al, Shawn Gaylor of Gadsden, AL, and Lonnie Stone of Columbia, NC; three daughters: Michelle Gaylor of Gadsden, Al, Harmony Harris (Christopher) of Swan Quarter, Maya Watson (Damon) of Augusta, GA; Grandchildren: Kelsey Gaylor, Darrian Gaylor, Whitney Gaylor, Braiden Gaylor, Preston Gaylor, Kaitlin Gaylor, Austin Gaylor, Mason Leach, Allie Harris, Aiden Stone, Ava Watson, Peyton Watson, Rylan Henriott and Gracelyn Henriott; two great grandchildren, Wrenley Tingen and Olivia Gaylor; two nieces, Sherry Ragan and Joy Smith, a nephew, Chris Smith, and a former wife, Deborah Munkus of Gadsden, AL.
