Ronel M. Reynolds, Jr.

Ronel M. Reynolds, Jr., 76, of Columbia, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

Ronel Reynolds, Jr. was born in Tyrrell County on January 1, 1948, to the late Ronel M. and Sara Brickhouse Reynolds, Sr.  He was married to Dawn Woodruff Reynolds who preceded him in death.

Ronel served his country in the United States Marines, and later worked as a correctional officer for the Department of Corrections.  He loved to drag race, hunt and fish.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

He is survived by his daughter Rebecca Norville (Craig) of Jarvisburg, NC; two grandchildren: Joshua Lindh (Keris) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Angela Cherry (Adam) of Chesapeake, VA; two great-grandchildren, Ava Cherry and Stetson Lindh; two step-sons, Tony Knapp (Angie) of Florida, and Billy Knapp (Lynn) of Jacksonville, NC; two brothers, Dwayne Reynolds and Shane Reynolds; a sister, Shelia Frankhauser (John) of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Reynolds.
