Shannon Diane Hoban Whipple, 53, of Plymouth, died, Thursday, June 1, 2023 at ECU Health Medical Center, Greenville.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 18, 1970 she was the daughter of Vincent and Cheryl Hall Hoban, and was married to Eric Whipple who survives.
She worked as a barista for the Riverview Café in Plymouth. Shannon had many passions, and excelled in all of them. She grew up riding horses and even managed a riding stable. At this stable she taught children and adults how to ride horses and share her love for horses. She loved to take long motorcycle rides with her husband Eric. She had amazing craft skills anywhere from cups to sweaters. She was a loving, fierce, kindhearted friend and mother.
A memorial service will be held Monday, July 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs Eric Whipple.
In addition to her parents and husband surviving are two sons, Eric Whipple (Destinee) of Colorado, Zackery Whipple of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Kate Whipple of Plymouth, Chloe Whipple of Greenville; two sisters, Kristen Judd of Pennsylvania and Cheri Hoban of Florida.
Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service at Hampton Academy, Plymouth.
