Sterlin Ray Parisher, Jr.
February 13, 1951 – February 10, 2022

Sterlin Ray Parisher, Jr., 70, of the Gum Neck community, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at his home.

Ray Parisher was born in Tyrrell County on February 13, 1951 to the late Sterlin R. and Flora M. Voliva Parisher. 

In his working years, Mr. Parisher was an airplane mechanic for the United States Navy.  He liked to fish and loved his illumination.  He loved his faithful dog Charlie, and his best friend Charlie.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday February 13, 2022, at The Point Cemetery in Gum Neck. Jon Langley will officiate.

Surviving are two sons, Erik Parisher, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Josh Parisher, of Jacksonville, Floridia; a brother, Gregory E. Parisher and wife Karen of Moyock; a sister, Kay P. Lajesse, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and two grandchildren, Jonah Parisher and Cameron Parisher.
