Susan Stotesberry-Riggs, 49, of Swan Quarter died, Sunday May 12, 2019 at her residence.
Born in Beaufort County, March 13, 1970 to the late Roland and Janice Christine Sadler Stotesberry. She was married to Michael Claude Riggs, Sr. who survives.
She was a member of the Swan Quarter Baptist Church.
Susan loved to work, she was known for her kindness, always helping anyone in need.
The family is receiving friends at the home place on 27 West Bay Court, Swan Quarter.
In addition to her husband surviving is a son Travis Gibbs of Engelhard, two daughters, Laurin Gibbs of Swan Quarter and Lea Stotesberry of Belhaven; four grandchildren, Teagan Ecko Stotesberry, Danca Marie Brickhouse, Kane Holiva Brickhouse and Alma Delaney Gibbs; a sister, Lisa Stotesberry of Labelle, Fl, and a brother, Curtis Lee Stotesberry of Swan Quarter.
She was preceded in death by a brother William Earnest Stotesberry.
