Whit Steven Williams Obituary

Whit Steven Williams
October 28, 1966 – April 13, 2021

Whit Steven Williams, 54, of Swan Quarter, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

Whit was born in Beaufort County, NC on October 28, 1966, to the late Herbert and Christine Gibbs Williams.

He was a graduate of Mattamuskeet High School, Class of 1985.  He was a hard-working man and spent most of his working career as a residential and commercial electrician.  His favorite hobby was hunting.  Whit accepted the Lord into his life at Potter’s Wheel Ministry.  He valued his family and friends above all else; he was a loving daddy with the biggest heart.   Most importantly he cared for others and showed kindness to everyone.  He never knew a stranger and helped those in need.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at 3:00 pm, at the Swan Quarter Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Pastor Mike Wheeler officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.

He is survived by his daughter Alexis Williams of Swan Quarter, fiancée, Hope Sadler, two sisters, Telita Matkins of Greenville, NC, and Luerain Buck and husband Scott of Greenville, NC, two nieces, Christy Carraway, and Taylor Matkins and a nephew Jayson Matkins, and one great-nephew, Bryson Carraway.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family with ongoing expenses, in care of Luerain Buck, 3914 Hudsons Crossroads Rd., Greenville, NC  27858

Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter.
